Dearest Curly Hair,
I’ll try my hardest to be polite, but I do have to say that I have a few problems with you. Honestly, you can be a little annoying sometimes (ok, VERY annoying sometimes). You always seem to be in my face and there’s hardly a day that you don’t want to be the center of attention. I know, I know. You can’t really help but just “be there”. But the fact is, sometimes you just take up a lot of space. It’s not like I don’t want you there, but if you were to control how large you get, that would be better. Oh, and did you know there’s a cloud of frizz that follows you around almost everywhere you go? Yeah. You might want to talk to someone about that. I don’t mean to be rude, but you’re the cause of most of my stressful mornings…and evenings. Sometimes I come home from school and I’m in horror of how you looked today. I know that doesn’t seem nice, but I’m a truth-teller here. So this is the plain + simple truth. I occasionally wish you’d leave, that you’d let me be and allow me to have a good (hair) day. I know we used to not get along very well. But here I am, asking your forgiveness for using the brush. I really am sorry. It surely didn’t help your “being large” situation. I think I found a way to tame you down, so that’s a start. I think a lot of other people have a problem with you too-no offense. Here’s what it comes down to: if you were to control your temper + learn to work with me, I think we could be really great friends.
(COMING SOON: My curly hair routine. Which I love. And recommend. It helps me + my curly hair to get along most of the time.)
Oh. And SUBSCRIBE (let’s be friends! ok? ok.) if you would like to know the moment that I post it. This routine is LIFE CHANGING, people. LIFE CHANGING.
