A POST ABOUT FAMILY

This semester, I had the opportunity to take an Eternal Families course. And I realllyyy enjoyed it. Well, for one of my projects, I chose to “Share Goodness” through posts relating to my family. So, for my last post, I was wanting to write some of the many things that I admire and love about each of my family members. (So, you know, you can ignore this post if you don’t want to know how much I really do love my family ;))

Dad: My dad is the hardest worker that I know. He goes to work day after day without complaint (even though it’s probably not all that fun every day 😉 ). When he has free time, it is spent with us, from playing games to going camping to helping us with whatever we need help with.

As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized even more how grateful I am for parents like mine. They really, truly are the best out there, and I’m lucky to call them mine.

Mom: My mom is patient and kind. I know she’s heard me say, “I just don’t know how you’re so patient!” probably more times than I can count. But it’s true, patience is a virtue, and it’s one that she definitely possesses.  (One that I hope to develop at some point. But I’d rather have it now. 😉 )

Tiona: T is my best friend. We’re back to sharing a bedroom like the good old days, since I moved off to college (and that’s just what you do when you have a big family like ours). Tiona is such a positive person. She hardly breaks down (opposite of me) and is able to stay positive during hard times.

Ephraim: Ephraim has great ideas + when he’s committed to something, he’s committed. I can almost always count on Ephraim to play games and plan things with me. Not to mention, Ephraim is a stinking genius. Always has been, always will be. Seriously though, he’s super smart.

Miles: Miles is a handy man. He’s my go-to for help when Dad isn’t home (because let’s be honest, I have no idea how to do most things concerning tools). He’s willing to drop whatever he’s working on to help someone else out. Really though, it’s super sweet. Because I need help often.

Tate: Tater-tot has a lot of love in his heart. I got multiple cards from Tate over the course of my Freshman year at BYU. He’s very thoughtful + would make my day with the sweet things he would put on his cards. Also, when I come home, he’s one of the first to say that he missed me.

Britain: My little Britain-boy will almost always give you that snuggle you need. Whether he’s been sad, or angry, when you ask for a hug and a kiss, he’s right there giving the love. He’s got a tender heart, and has gotten very concerned that there is a mountain lion somewhere in between his bed and the wall.

Emery London: Emery is a spunky little girl! She’s very enthusiastic and likes to go and do things with all the “big kids”. She likes to be outdoors, but also lets me do her nails and hair (which, YAY, because even Tiona doesn’t really let me do that often).

I love my family, and couldn’t think of anyone who I’d rather spend eternity with. LOVE YOU FAM!

xoxo,

kaylee jo
